A relaxing tropical paradise with lush landscaping, waterfalls
and colorful birds awaits guests at Disney's Polynesian Resort.
The 853-room Polynesian-themed resort features 11 two- and three-story
longhouses situated on the white sandy beach across the serene Seven
Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom.
Guestrooms feature a tropical motif complete with exotic prints
and bamboo-style fixtures. Standard rooms offer two queen-size beds
and a day bed, sleeping five. Suites can accommodate from four to
six persons.
The deluxe resort connects to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot via monorail,
with bus transportation to Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom,
water parks and other attractions throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests will experience paradise in the Pacific at the Spirit of
Aloha Dinner Show, where a cast of Polynesian dancers entertains
guests at a festive luau feast. The menu includes delicacies such
as island pork ribs, an authentic Hawaiian favorite; lanai roasted
chicken; fresh sautéed vegetables; shrimp-fried rice and a Polynesian
dessert.
Kids can join in the adventures of Peter Pan at the Neverland Club,
an entertaining child-care facility including dinner, toys and games
in a themed area.
Dining options include 'Ohana, located on the second floor of the
Great Ceremonial House, featuring a character breakfast and a family-style
Polynesian feast where meats and seafood are grilled over an open
fire pit. The Kona Cafe, a unique family restaurant, is open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sandwiches, ice cream and pizza are
available 24 hours a day at Captain Cook's Snack and Ice Cream Company.
Shopping options include island fashions, bathing suits and casual
sportswear.
