Architect Michael Graves opted for the Art deco style of the 1930s when he designed this hotel. With a variety of architectural inspirations, Disney's Hotel New York is reminiscent of famous skyscrapers such as the Rockefeller Centre, Gramercy Park and the "brownstone" buildings that are typical of the Big Apple.
