Brilliant!
Reviewer's Comments
My favourite ride in WDW -
the queues have never been really bad when we went on it but this is the ride we head for first in MGM. We've also used a fastpass for this ride. Once you get inside the 'hotel' it starts to get even more creepy and exciting! The pre-show is excellent; the perfect way to build up to this ride.
Once you're on the ride and had the door slammed shut by one of the 'bell boys', the panic sets in! Waiting for the drop may seem like the longest few seconds of your life but its all worth it - looking outside when the doors open and dropping 13 storeys a few seconds later was the most exciting (and scary) part of my whole holiday!
I've rated this 'more for adults' but I've seen plenty of kids go on and have a good time but, be warned, it is scary...
If you decide you don't want to go on the ride you can still queue with your friends/family and then get out of it before they start loading people on.
This ride is unmissable!

You gotta do it!
Reviewer's Comments
Don't have a big breakfast if you do this one on Early Entry! I thought it was just a single drop, but you get several ups and downs. When the doors open and you see right out into the park ......
Fantastic experience!

Summary
Close to perfection
Reviewer's Comments
This ride oozes coolness. From the mega cool "hotel" that it is situated in, The Tower of Terror is one of the best rides in MGM Studios, even the rest of Disney World. The queue is perfect for the ride, and the short video before it begins captures the essence of the Twilight Zone television show perfectly. Then you enter the "boiler room" where the creepy ride operators lead you into the elevators for your journey into the Twilight Zone. I won't ruin what happens next, but it is terrifying, in a fun kind of way. You owe it to yourself to ride this ride, and you won't leave dissapointed, I assure you. Oh, and make sure you ride it at night....

awsome
Reviewer's Comments
Well, I haven't been on this since I was 9 years old. and I thought when you walked in there was soo cool. It actually looked like a real old hotel it was so cool. and than as we went in the elevator It was soo scary!! holy **** haha! I only went on it once since i was so scared. But I am 15 now, and I am going to disneyworld in 3 weeks and I am really looking forward to going on it. I heard they changed it..they got rid of the bar that you hold on too:O:O you just have a little seatbelt. I love how you dont know when your going to fall. overall its a great ride. Im not sure if its suitable for 10 and younger though, but maybe for some people. But make your kids go on it atleast once or they are missing out on a grea experience.

Over Rated!!
Reviewer's Comments
The words that come to mind for this ride, is "highly over rated" it is such a let down once u get to the drop sequence to find out that the build up to the ride is better than the ride itself imagine going in a hotel lift, n them bunkin the speed of it up ever so slightly. which is actually the point of the ride, but it could still be made better, to live up to the name "TOWER OF TERROR" terror it certainly wasn't. i would say this ride is suitable for kids. unless they don't like abit of wind on the back of there ears.

Wow!!
Reviewer's Comments
The pre-show was most entertaining and the porter's stayed in-character so well.
The first time I rode, I was asked by an elderly couple if I would carry their bodies out afterwards - I was a little dismayed by this comment but noted that their grad-daughter, no more than 8, had no fear before or during the ride showing that age does not count, rather individual fear.
Nothing compares to that moment when you're just waiting for it to drop - the actual drop isn't so bad.

Summary
Outstanding
Reviewer's Comments
In contrast to the review by john1986, this ride is trully fantastic. It is pretty much a masterpiece, with excellent balance of ride and prelude.
The atmospheric journey through the hotel is brilliantly portrayed by the Concierge's and some interesting Hitchcock/Twighlight Zone style special effects.
The key moment is the drop, and it is a peach. The safety measures in the carriage do not strictly lend themselves to the fate that awaits you. The multiple drops are awesome. This will definitely have you back for more.
We found the second ride a little more edgy, as we knew what to expect, however, it is not entirely clear when it will happen, so you find yourself braced for the drop well in advance. The anticipation increases the fear factor significantly.
