My opinion of this ride has changed a lot over the years. At first, I thought this was one of the best rides in MGM. However, with the addition of the fantastic Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster, it is getting faded with the passing years, and in desperate need of renovations. The queue is awesome, especially with the life size walker outside (I don't want to anger the Star Wars freaks by messing up the name) and actually better than the ride itself, but not by much. The actual ride is a lot of fun, much better than the boring Body Wars, but it suffers from the same problem that plagues that ride: it desperately needs an update. Other than that, it is a fantastic ride, and holds up marvelously well over time. That, and the fact that it is almost always a walk-on makes it a perfect way to use up a couple of spare minutes.

Not bad at all. You sit in a spaceship like vehicle and watch a screen which makes it feel like you are really outside and the vehicle moves to help with the atmosphere.

Best part of this whole ride... the death star sequence. THAT was so great. I wish it were a little longer, altogether. But it was just so much fun. I love the queue line. Worth it to wait once, but if you go again get a fast pass. I wouldnt recommend going more than once too soon though, because the second time i went right after the first and it was sooo bad. You knew everything coming so itwasnt as great. Then when i came back years later, it was awesome once again!

I love this ride too, my husband did OK but he does not like a rough ride,I enjoyed. We both did this in 2000 and I did it by my self in 2002. I would do it again if a get the chance.
