This is nice even if you haven't seen the movie. My 5 year old asked if we could stay the night there. There is a lot of climbing stairs which can be a pain if you're trying to carry a squirming toddler.

If you want to exercise you definitely will have it at the Swiss Family Treehouse. Lots of stairs to climb but great views of Magic Kingdom.
The treehouse has a lot of "neat" rooms and was nicely designed. Fun for the kids to look and be able to relate to the movie.
If you have a hard time climbing stairs or if your child is too young, I wouldn't recommend this.

This attraction is good if you go towards the beginning of the day. Climbing loads of stairs seems doable at the start of a Magic Kingdom tour rather than after 8 hours of it. Really interesting scenery, and the theming works well. However, it really is a one time only thing, and older guests will probably not enjoy it as much as the younger generation. Just decent enough to warrant a look.

At first I hated the treehouse, mainly because we went in the afternoon. The stairs were a killer, and the heat didn't help either. I sweat right through my tank top, so I felt icky and smelly for the rest of the day, and my legs hurt for the whole afternoon. Then we visited one night at dusk, and I loved it! It was a totally different experience! The place was nearly empty, so we didn't feel rushed climbing the stairs. It was so nice and quiet, and we got a nice view in the sunset : )

My husband and I did this together in 2000 but the next time in 2002 he could not do it and I went alone. When we go again I would like to do it but I would have to walk more slowly.
