Summary Animals!

Reviewer's Comments

Go first thing in the morning or get a fastpass, or be prepared for a LONG wait!
The animals you see will depend on the time of day, but I've always seen a good mixture, especially on my last trip.
Best places to sit are on the outside of the truck, the left side probably has the most animals.
Could do without the 'poacher' story at the end, but apart from that this is a must-see.

Summary nothing great

Reviewer's Comments

For a park that we may never attend again, this ride was ok. The film shown while waiting in line was not very appropriate for young children as it showed animals being hunted and poached. Definately do this before the heat sets in as the animals are few and far between as it is. (except for the elephant area) The poacher story line on the ride is terrible and a waste for all participating.

Summary I loved it

Reviewer's Comments

This was really done well. The animals of course are safely separated from you, but you get swept away into the safari. We saw tons of animals all over even though it was afternoon, must have been because it was Oct. The poacher storyline was unnecessary, but the kids did like the creaky old bridge. We did this first before Magic Kingdom, so Jungle Cruise in contrast was a bust.

Summary GREAT!

Reviewer's Comments

This "safari" is very fun, even if you can't understand what your guide is saying half the time. Tip: Go in the morning, when the animals are out. Lots of great photo ops!

Summary Don't miss it

Reviewer's Comments

This is really great. We saw many different animals on the safari. I heard if you go in the morning you have a better chance of seeing more animals.

Summary best attaction in AK

Reviewer's Comments

If you get there in the mourning, when the animals are out, and there are no lines, it's the best attraction in AK

Summary Excellent

Reviewer's Comments

The ratings I gave it really don't give it justice, I'm afraid. Along with Dinosaur, it is the best in the park, and if you love animals, it is the best outright. Simply amazing, and after watching one of those behind the scenes documentaries, I love it even more. I can't wait to get back to Disney and enjoy it. Phenomenal!

Summary Cool

Reviewer's Comments

You can't get a better safarri this side of the Atlantic. A heck of a lot better than any zoo. Definatly Animal Kingdom's best. If this is the only thing you ride at Animal Kingdom, its well worth the admision.
