Take the Ride !!
Reviewer's Comments
I think this is one of my favourite rides at WDW - the unexpected twists (the first time anyway) and the effects and scenes from famous movies make this a good ride for all ages.
Beware the Alien scene (if riding with children), and the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz area can be a bit intense for the very young.

FUN
Reviewer's Comments
This ride is the greatest! The Alien scene is kind of rusty, not too scary if you explain to the kids it's just a robot. Some parts ARE scary, so beware! Animatronics could be better, but still one my all-time favorites! They should add Kermit and Piggy!

One of MGM's Best
Reviewer's Comments
One of MGM's very best. Definitely a fantastic show, and has some pretty good twists in it's story (well, maybe only the very first time you ride). Some decent thrills along the way, especially the Alien sequence. Could use a bit of updating, but I'm not complaining, because it is fine as is. Great fun and worth the time if you go to MGM.

Summary
For Film Buffs
Reviewer's Comments
I looked at the overall ratings of MGM rides and was somewhat taken back by the high ranking for this ride when competing with the other choices. This is a ride for film buffs who want to live in the past and remember years gone-by. The line can get too long, but I hit this one right when it opened and would never stand in a long line for this one...trust me on this one, the line for this ride snakes throughout the building, into a theatre, and to the loading area. You ride a large "cart vehicle" with lots of people (est 100+). Ride involves film cuts, stage acting tour guides and props throughout. Good slow ride to get you out of the heat of a summer day.

Summary
pretty lame
Reviewer's Comments
I can't imagine why anyone could think that this is a great experience. You board a big cart with a ton of other people, a tour guide points out animatronics from some old movies. There is a kind of shoot-out in the middle of the ride and a change of guides - very contrived and puzzling. There were no transitions between the film displays - you go from one static display to another. The "Alien" exhibit consists of a smallish rubber-looking alien that cranks out of the ceiling and goes right back up. Not at all scary. All in all, this was a momentous waste of time.

I love this ride. I definitely recommend it to everyone. This is one of Disney's best creations as you go in a big car through the scenes of the best movies ever created.

Great!
Reviewer's Comments
This attraction is kid-friendly, but also a great attraction for others too. While it is slightly dated in the way of technology it remains what i'd call a cute ride. You can view parts from many movies, including some classics and some much-loved movies. Whilst queuing you can view movie memorabillia, and see extracts from well-known movies. It is a steady yet entertaining ride, which yet again makes the audience feel involved.Great!
