Summary Don't drag the kids in

Reviewer's Comments

This ride is well done, but every time I have ridden it I have witnessed traumatised kids crying their eyes out and having to be carried out of the theatre at the end of the show. To my mind, this ride should not be at the MK - MGM may be a better place for it and give it an 'Alien' theme.

Parents - please READ some reviews of this ride and HEED the warnings of others - it IS too scary for some kids and can spoil their whole day, or even scar their memories of that once in a lifetime trip to WDW. Don't force them to do it.

Summary Adults should do this!

Reviewer's Comments

Well, I loved this! But I would never take a child under 12 into it (well at least not my kids!) Very intimidating....but it's my favourite attraction in MK!

Summary Not for kids

Reviewer's Comments

Having read so many things about this ride, I decided to be brave and go on it myself last year.
I expected it to be very scary, but, probably because I'd read so much, I knew what to expect, and therefore found it quite tame.
The thing that bothered me the most was the restraint that lowers down over your shoulders. It locks into place and won't budge for the whole ride, which was very uncomfortable. When it starts to lower, sit up as straight as you can until it locks into place, that way you'll have a bit of room to move.
Although I didn't find it scary, I certainly wouldn't recommend it for kids, or anyone of a nervous disposition.
I wasn't scared because I knew what to expect, and there wasn't really an alien on the loose. But believe me, I was in the minority!

Summary Teens and adults only!!!

Reviewer's Comments

It's been said before...this is NOT for kids. I don't frighten very easily, but it was quite suspenseful, and there were a lot of people screaming (and not the roller coaster type of scream). It's in the dark and somewhat interactive (your seat does things to you). A definite must-do ride!

Summary COOOOOL!!!!

Reviewer's Comments

I really enjoyed this attraction. I was 11 when I first experienced this and I really wasn't scared. This is actually pretty funny! Make sure your kids aren't scared of cool looking aliens before they get on this ride.

Summary Not for faint of heart !!

Reviewer's Comments

As other reviewers have stated, this is not for young children!!! My husband and 13 year old son were the only members of our family able & brave enough to go on this ride. They thought that it was more funny than scary. Maybe I'll try it next time we go!

Summary Brilliant

Reviewer's Comments

We didn't know what to expect when we went in. Wish we had! We took our 9 year old son with us. When they strapped us down in the seats we were terrified, didn't have a clue what would happen next. I would not have taken him in there if I had known how scary it was. It was fabulous for my teenage daughters though they loved it. My son wouldn't go in there again though!

Summary Creepy Fun

Reviewer's Comments

Wow. That is the main word that comes to mind once you walk away from this attraction. It has such a great blend of thrills that you would not believe that you still are on Disney property. So un-Disneylike, but they pump as much magic as they can into the experience. Perfect, except you will get scared out of your wits... which usually means keep the kids away. Absolutely amazing.
