This is one of those rides that should be removed. nothing more than a typical fairground ride, this one does not do Disney any favours in the 21st century. It needs to be replaced.

This ride is old and does nothing for you. Granted you're up high and you might get a nice view but that's about it. You go in circles, you can control how high/low you go and that's the highlight of the ride.

Kids would probably like it. For adults only, it's boring.

Nice views of the park, etc, but is it really worth the wait?

You have to queue to enter a lift to be taken to the platform. Loading and unloading is very slow.

It all adds up to a poor attraction.

ok, so this ride is not cool. i am 16 and my sister is 21 and we are both 5'10". we decided to go on this ride together, thinking it was similar to the dumbo ride. However, when we were entering the ride, the person letting us on did not warn us at all that we would not fit. We squeezed into the ride and had a terrible experience. The ride did show some great views of the park, but it mostly made me nautious.

I haven't been on this ride in about 4 years, but I believe that the experience hasn't been altered all that much in those years. When I did ride it, I had a rather mixed experience. The ride itself was ok, but a few minor (or major, depending on how you view it) faults hurt the overall fun. First, the seats were rather cramped. Naturally, I am taller than I was back then, but I had a bit of trouble sitting comfortably. Secondly, the lines can be a bit decieving. Although from the ground level, they may seem small, they actually can be quite large upon reaching the level that the ride is on. And finally, the ride isn't all that long.

Still, though, this ride isn't that bad of a ride. It has its share of thrills (if you are afraid of heights, or just worried that you didn't entirely fit into the seat) and has an amazing view, especially if you go at night. I recommend it for those who can look past a few minor faults and you have yourself a pretty decent ride. If not, then just ride on the Transit Authority or any of the other great rides in Tomorrowland.

Well, I am not fond of heights but I tried it anyway in 2000 did not go on in 2002.
It is OK but again i do not like heights. I just wanted to try everyone once the first year, the second year I just did my favorites and afew other.

the astro orbiter is bloody insane.. i loved it.. i did not think the ride was too high. i mean it just wasnt to high.. elizabeth give the orbiter another chance.. please
