LOVED IT!!!!!
Reviewer's Comments
This (to date) is my favorite moderate resort. I loved the theming, the rooms, the size of the resort, the food court - yes I said.... the food court, the cobblestone roads, the walk to PORS, the boat to DD, the CM's were great. I cannot say enough about this resort!!!! We loved it so much that we wanted to move back to FQ from the CBR the following year.

Want to go back!!
Reviewer's Comments
Oh, Boy....can't find enough great things to say about this one!!
The atmosphere was just terrific! EASY, EASY, EASY to get to everyhing from here. Their ferry goes to the Marketplace and back!, easy walk to the busses, close to all the theme parks...wonderful food court, although can be pricey if you're not careful, but just terrific. I would love to stay here again..and with a discount code I'd gotten online, was only $69 per night. Can you imagine???? Can't even stay at the run down Holiday Inn down the street from where I live for THAT price!!!
WE LOVED IT!

Summary
Bad Disney hotel!
Reviewer's Comments
I had stayed at Port Orleans in the past and found it pleasant, but in January of 2003, we had a horrible experience.
One of the rooms we got was supposed to be non-smoking, but someone had smoked in it. When the front desk was informed of the problem,
they promised to take care of it. However, when we returned to our room after nine hours in the park, nothing had been done!
This was after we had checked with the front desk during the day and had been told that the problem would definitely be corrected! We were
horribly disappointed!

Great place to stay!
Reviewer's Comments
This was our first time to POFQ and it was great. It definetly gives you that New Orleans flavor. The pool is great w/ a slide included! A major adavantage of staying at POFQ vs. PORS is finding a seat on the bus. The bus stops first at POFQ going to the parks and is the first stop back from the parks. Also take advantage of the boat that goes b/t DD and PORS.

Summary
wonderful family vacation
Reviewer's Comments
This was my 5th trip to Disney but my first time at the French Qtr., and it won't be my last. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time and our room was ready. The food court has something for everyone and the prices are not bad. Everyone was friedly and the grounds are spotless. The transportation at the French Qtr. is stress-free. We always got a seat on the bus and the boat to downtown Disney is a pleasant way to travel. In this price range the French Qtr. is hard to beat. Can't wait to go back!! I can't think of one negitive thing to say about the Port Orleans French QTR.

Wonderful
Reviewer's Comments
It was our first stay at POFQ, although I'd stayed at POR when it was Dixie Landings.
POFQ is much smaller resort and therefore easier to get around.
It was also very quiet and peaceful.
The food court had a reasonable choice of foods, although not as good as some of the other food courts onsite. Some food court staff were also less than useless.
The room was very spacious, beds comfortable, and all are now equipped with free fridges.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
Check-in staff seemed slow, and we had about 20 minute wait.
Can't complain at all, we got an AP rate and it was a great stay at a great resort!

Summary
Nice place to stay
Reviewer's Comments
Unfortunatley it was too cold to swim on our trip but the pool looked real nice and there was a pool bar right there too. Rooms were average size but very pretty inside (bathtub could have been a little bigger if I'm gonna be picky.) Pretty layout and theming -- does look just like the French Quarter. Food court had fine food (only ate breakfast there.) We were the farthest building away from the main building and yet the bus stop was still quite convenient to our room. Close to downtown Disney. If I had a complaint, it would be that the front desk & conceirge staff did not seem to be the usual extra pleasantness or as well informed as I'd seen in all of the other Disney employees we encountered. They just seemed to be missing that extra flash that you get w/ Disney employees, that spark that really helps make such a difference in your vacation experience. They weren't rude, just a little indifferent.
