This is such a fun resort! The Calypso pool is fantastic! I love the different music they play as you pass each different themed building. Transportation is excellent. It is very Disney-very lively. A fun and affordable place for a family to stay.

It was great. Everyone was so nice. All I had to do was call, they answered any question I had to ask instead of giving me the run around. Everything was so beautiful. The food court had everything you could even imagine. The pools were great. The rooms were just the right size. Everything was just perfect. Why would anyone want to stay any were else.

A great buy for clean, cozy, quiet, comfortable surroundings. Rooms would probably be a little cramped for a family of four but have more than enough room for just two people. Bus service was amazing. The worst thing about the ASMu resort is its lack of a sit-down restaurant and its abysmal food court.

We visited the All Star Music for eight nights in October 2001, and could not have been more pleased with the experience.
There were seven of us, and we had two connecting rooms. The rooms were clean and bright.
We had a handicapped lady with us, and this resort did everything possible to accomodate her. One of the rooms was designed for her wheelchair, even down to the shower. One note about that is, the shower curtain was very short and the rest of the bathroom and changing area were practically flooded after she bathed. That is the only negative thing I can say about the room.
We made a few other request that would make her stay more comfortable and each time the CM's and desk manager came through!
Also, when we arrived that first night it was around 1:00 am and we'd been driving many hours. We were all tired and the first thing I noticed about my room was the heat. Our AC was out, so I called the front desk. Being so late, I tho't we'd be roasting til morning, but to my surprise there was a fellow in my room only ten minutes after we called, fixing the AC.
We loved everything. The food court was good and reasonably priced, a nice sized arcade, a well stocked gift shop (where we spent too much money), buses that ran every fifteen minutes, and helpful, smiling cast members.
We're going back to WDW this November and although we thought about trying a moderate this time, we're going to stay with the All Star's! : )

I really enjoyed this resort. It was my first time staying on site and i was very pleastly surprised. The rooms would be a little small for a family of four but there were three of us (my dad my sis and me) but it was fine. We didnt spend a whole lot of time their. The theming is AWSOME!!!!!!!!! it's so much fun!!!

This is a very good resort for families with teenagers and children. The food court is conveinent for both early and late meals after a tiring day at the parks. The pools are colorful and well-themed. Also, the rooms were manageable and comfortable for a family of two teens and two adults (although I admit, it was a tight sqeeze). The buses from here were always on time during both of our stays here :-)

Stayed here in 1999. Rooms were extremely affordable and if you are on a tight budget this is a great place. My child was only 5 so spending too much on a luxury resort was really not worth the money. She loved the pool (in fact that was the highlight of the vacation for her), lol.

Check In/Check Out - A bit slow but alright. We arrived in the early evening, left around 10 a.m.

Rooms - Clean, not too many amenities but hey...when you are spending $250 less per night than at some of the deluxe resorts, not a bid deal. No problems with noise.

Food - Quite average but again less expensive.

Transportation - A little on the slow side, no Monorails but ok.

Shops - Don't remember if there were any. Arcade was fine.

Swimming Pool - Better than expected, perhaps not themed very much but for a 5 year old it was great.

Conclusion - I am probably coming with friends next year to WDW. Since they are on a strict budget we will stay with them at this hotel for 4 days then go to the Polynesian for 4 (even friends need some time apart, lol, and breaking up the vacation into two hotels really makes it seem longer). Overall if you want the Disney experience without the expense this is a great way to do it. You do lose some of the magic by not being in an upscale resort but on shorter stays (3, 4 days) most guests are zooming around the theme parks anyways.

This resort was so clean! The service was excellent! All the employees were so nice. Some went out of their way to make us feel so special! This was the best Spring break I ever!!! Have to save up to come back again next Spring break! Only complaint was the food. It was tastey but overpriced. Either that or they could of given larger portions. Otherwise the whole experience was excellent!!!
