Lots of fun
Reviewer's Comments
Not for the easily embarrased!
Clean your plate or prepare to be humiliated. Your server might be 'mom' or 'cousin' or 'big sister'. Food is standard comfort food such as fried chicken.
And keep your elbows off that table!

Reviewer's Comments
We made sure to go back to this restaurant after eating here in 1996. Still is alot of fun, wait staff acts and talks like its the 50's. Good selection of home style cooked meals. We will surely dine here again on our next visit.

This was fun, and a cool way to eat home cooked food while in the park. Oh yeah, shout out to AUNT BRENDA if she's reading this! Portions are HUGE so be warned.

Great cooking!
Reviewer's Comments
The portions at this restaurant are HUGE! You have to eat all your food before you get dessert so I recommend sharing a dinner and a dessert, then you get the best of both worlds. We had the fried chicken and it was so good. The mashed potatoes are really good too. Our "cousin" was our waitress and she was funny. She got into her part a lot, but not as much as some of the other ones. We heard yelling from all over the place to "Get those elbows off that table." We had to remove our hats, so be prepared. If your hair gets really yucky in the heat like mine does, ask for a hat pass...I did, and you will get to wear it.

Summary
Really funny
Reviewer's Comments
I have never laughed as much in my life. Ok, I have, but never at a Disney Restaurant. Not too bad a wait, pretty average for a restaurant of this size. The meals are actually pretty cheap, for Disney, anyway, and there is a decent amount of range in the food choices. The meals were delicious, but the real treat is the service. As one of your "family members", your waiter or waitress will treat you just like a member of the family. And that includes telling you to get your elbows off the table and take off your hat. A word of advice to let you survive the meal: Don't make fun of your siblings, should you have any or you will be sorry, and take your hat off before you enter the restaurant. Oh, and the soap is blue(at least it was when I went). If you fail to adhere to this advice, you may be (as I was) forced to do "I'm a little teapot" in front of the whole room....

Summary
Tasty food/overpriced
Reviewer's Comments
We ate here August 4, 2003. We were called to our table fairly quickly (unlike in the past). We enjoy the 50's theme of this restaurant. Although my meal was tasty (potroast), the portion was average in size. My children enjoy this restaurant but I feel it is a bit overpriced. Service was efficient but unlike my experience at some other Disney eateries, I got the impression that the waitress didn't really care whether my family enjoyed 50's Prime Time Cafe or not. In fact, my 16 year old is a picky eater and so he didn't order anything. The only things that he liked were on the kid's menu. When our three year old didn't want his chicken nuggets, we passed them to our 16 year old along with the soda. The waitress made some sort of comment about cheating. Conversely, when we ate at Norway, our waitress cheerfully agreed to allow our 16 year old to order a kids meal.
