Disappointment!!
Reviewer's Comments
My wife and I both had seafood dinners. The fish was average, and mine was served over noodles, which was dissapointing, at best, considering the extremely high prices. We both liked the theming and atmosphere, and the service was ok. However,an establishment that charges top dollar for a meal should not skimp on quality. My meal was simply fish and noodles!! This was the most disappointing meal either of us has ever gotten. We would not have been impressed even if the prices were very low, and believe me, they were very, very high!!

Coral Reef
Reviewer's Comments
My husband and I went to Coral Reef on our honeymoon we had priority seating and were able to walk in with our table ready. I enjoyed my dish, it was quite good. Although my husband enjoyed his, he would recommened that before ordering seafood be familiar with what you are ordering, if you do not know ask the server.

Best Meal Ever!
Reviewer's Comments
This was simply the best meal of my life, never mind my stay at Disney World!
The best thing about this restaurant is sitting in front a massive aquarium. We had a booth right in the middle opposite the glass wall.
My sister hates sea food but there was plenty of the menu that she could eat. I had the pan seared salmon and it was cooked to perfection. Really perfect.
Our desserts were so impressive we took photos! My sorbet was shaped like a seahorse. My mum had ice cream shaped like Mickey Mouse.
Our waitress was really helpful and took a photo of my family for us. I then took a photo of my sister with the aquarium in the background and a waiter (called Dave) jumped in and put his arm round my sister! It made us giggle. Despite the outward appearance of formality, this is a really friendly and fun restaurant.
The price was fairly expensive but imagine how much you'd pay for a meal like that in London or New York! It was a bargain price when you take that into account.
A really great meal.

Great Atmosphere-Pricey
Reviewer's Comments
The atmosphere was great. We asked for a table next to the aquarium and it was fun. That was the best part. The food was
very good but also very pricey for the small portions. My husband
& I ordered the lobster stew for starters which was SOOOO good!!! My 2 sons split a shrimp cocktail (3 shrimp $10.00). The lobster stew was $8.00 a piece. My husband got the shrimp, I got the Mahi Mahi which was very good, One son ordered the shrimp and one son got the pizza from the children's menu. I got a glass of wine & my husband got a beer. The total was $170.00 including the tip. We loved the atmosphere and the food was very good. The servings were small & we thought pricey. Would probably not go again. I'm am glad we experienced it. Towards the end of our meal the divers came out into the aquarium which was great.

Reviewer's Comments
This place was wonderful, we went in 2000, the year of out 30th wedding anniversary, I did a lot of priority seating that year, I think I over did it but we had a wonderful time.
We had a shrimp dinner that was out of this world. Three large shrimp as big as Lobster Tails here in New Hampsire. They were great. I can't remember anything else but that the whole experenice was a wonderful memory. The tank with all the fish, I rememer this huge sea turtle swimming around and it was beautiful. Anothe well done job Disney.

Reviewer's Comments
With priority seating, we only waited about five minutes. We were seated right next to the aquarium without asking so that was really great! I had the lobster stew for starters and that was amazing! My girlfriend had lobster which she enjoyed and I had tilapia oscar which was pan-seared tilapia with a crab cake on top and then covered with hollandaise sauce and asparagus. Extremely good! Our desserts were really good too! I definitely reccomend this restaurant. It was expensive so it isn\'t an every night type of a place but with just two people, it wasn\'t a wallet breaker.

Kid's Favorite
Reviewer's Comments
I have eaten at the Coral Reef on every trip to Disney since the restaurant opened, and have enjoyed it every time. The only negative is the value for the food. While the food has always been good, it is a bit expensive. We used the dining plan last time, and it did not seem to be worth 2 table service meals - especially compared to some of the meals we had that were only 1 table service.
The theming is tremendous, even though I have never been seated by the glass. It is the favorite restaurant of both my 6 and 9 year old. They in particular like the ability to see the aquarium while dining. They also seem to be hooked on the make your own sundae desert.
Overall, the food has been very good each time and the overall experience has been tremendous. I will continue to go back each time despite the fact that it is a bit pricier than the value you get.

disappointing
Reviewer's Comments
We stayed in WDW for 8 days in december 2005. In Coral Reef we had the worst dinner. Service was poor. They acted like it was my privilige to have dinner there. Prices are way too high for the quality of the food. Even for lower prices, I would still say the quality is poor. We had fish with pasta and that about describes what was on our plates. It tasted like nothing. We were in Florida for a month. We never ate worse then in Coral Reef.
