Reviewer's Comments
We just absolutely love the rainforest cafe. I have heard mixed reviews but we defintely eat there at least 3 or 4 times each trip. Two words - CHICKEN QUESADILLAS - they are out of this world!!!! I think we are looking more to eating there than Disney World itself. HA HA!!

It is a not to miss experience. The mixture of lighting, atmosphere, scenery and animated animals make you fell like your in the rainforest. Great fun for all ages.
Not recomended if your looking for a quiet meal.

Great!!
Reviewer's Comments
We eat here every time we go to Disneyworld. It's great fun, and the food is very good, and while not cheap, is reasonable considering the quality of food and the outstanding surroundings. It's almost an attraction itself, like eating in the rainforest, complete with a brief thunderstorm every 15 minutes, and animatronics animals moving and making noises while you eat. I recommend that everyone try it at least once, but you'll probably be back for more!

This place, once it draws you in, is one of a great atmosphere which just happens to have great food! I like the many different choices available. We always visit this restaurant when we visit WWW, and now that my daughter works there, we will always go there!

Reviewer's Comments
We had a very bad experience here. I am glad that we went towards the end of our vacation because it would have ruined my whole vacation. I made priority seating for 12:00pm knowing that it would probably be crowded then. We got there about 10 minutes early so I expected to have to wait a little bit. The people that were in line before us told the girl at the podium that they had seating for 12:30 but wanted to eat earlier, so they gave them a card and told them to go stand in another line and it would be about 10 minutes. They told me the same thing when I got up there. Well, 10 minutes went by and the people who had the priority seating A HALF AN HOUR AFTER US were seated. I thought well, I was right behind them, so we will be next. Wrong! About 10 parties later and having to listen to a screaming 2 year-old needing a nap for a half an hour, finally at 12:30pm we were seated. About 15 minutes later our server decided to show up and take our drink order. About 15 minutes after that she decided to bring our drinks...at this point, I was glad that I ordered something alcoholic. She then took our order, all this an hour after we were supposed to be seated. We got our food about 20 minutes later and had to scarf it down because my son was still screaming. The waitress came back 30 minutes later and asked if we wanted dessert. She must have known I would say no because she handed me my check right then and there. I put my traveler's checque in there right as she walked away, but she didn't see, so I had to wait for her to come back and pick it up. After she came back about 5 minutes later and picked it up it took another 10 minutes to get my change. Needless to say, she didn't receive a tip from me and I will probably be eating in at the one at DD next time.

Disappointing
Reviewer's Comments
We had decided to go to rainforest cafe as one of our special meals during our holiday. We were told we would wait about 10 minutes but were still waiting half an hour later. Once we got in we got put in a corner with no light and unable to see anything. We didnt wait too long for the waiter but when he did come we were pressurised into buying a rather expensive, and not very nice drink for my little sister. The drinks took a while and then so did the food. The food was nice and there was a good choice but be prepared to wait a long time. We were disappointed by our visit here, it was very expensive and although the place is well themed for kids we didnt get to enjoy any of this with our seating. We wouldnt waist our money again when there are so many cheaper and less crowded places to eat.

Summary
Great food too slow
Reviewer's Comments
We went to AK & on the spur of the minute decided to go to RFC, we stood in line for about 10 mins before we reached the podium & were seated after a further 15 - 20 mins, not bad as we were there over lunchtime, but being as it was May \'05 everywhere was pretty easy to get in to. Our waiter came to the table almost imediately & took our drinks order, which arrived quickly, he came back shortly afterwards & took our order, which we waited & waited & waited for, which really wasn\'t much fun with a 3 year old & a 1 year old, especially as the air con was soooooooo cooooold. When eventually our meal arrived it was delicious, the kids loved it when all the animals went wild, but we did feel a bit out of it, as we were seated near the elephants only just inside the restaurant. We ate our food rather quickly, as we felt we had wasted a big chunk of the day in there, & by now my 1 year old was sick of sitting still & my 3 year old was so cold she was on my lap!!! We asked for the bill, which came eventually, & to buy 2 plates ( 2 for $5 ) we waited a while for the waiter to collect the bill, which we paid by c/card, eventually we were all paid up, but he forgot the plates, by now my husband took the kids out of the restaurant, & I waited by myself for the plates to finally arrive. I probably wouldn\'t go again as the wait was so bad, perhaps I\'d try Downtown Disney, though I heard that it can take hours to be seated there. It was a shame as the food & atmosphere were great, our waiter was nice enough, just slow.

Won't bother again
Reviewer's Comments
We were really looking forward to this but found the price of the food expensive and not tasty at all. The service was absolutely terrible had to ask other servers for silverware when we couldn't locate ours for a while.
Whilst eating our appetisers, our entrees were brought out 3 times! The manager was walking by and noticed there was a problem and spoke to my husband and his reply was amazing, more or less said we weren't up to speed with their culture and with that walked away! I was in the toilet with our daughter at the time, good job, I have been front of house in a 4 star restaurant for 5 years so would have said plenty.
Never mind, too many places to go back somewhere that is bad!
