Summary Rainforest Cafe is Awesom

Reviewer's Comments

There is no priority seating, but you can reserve by contacting them directly. Best time to go is between lunch and dinner. We had no wait at all.

Summary Awesome Place!

Reviewer's Comments

Rainforest Cafe is a place you have to at least visit if you don't want to dine there. The restaurant is really cool with the thunderstorms every twenty minutes, the fish tanks and the decor. The adjacent shop has many safari type items as well as it's traditional "Rain Forest Cafe" items.

The day we were there, it was raining outside so we hung out at the bar for a bite to eat and a few beers. With my luck I was able to sit on a zebra bar stool which was great since I love zebra's and collect them as well. Found out that the bar stools are $1,400 a piece. So much for getting one of them at home! :-(

The food was very good and the service from our bartendar was wonderful. He made sure that you were happy with everything. The prices were high for the portions you received but that's typical with any restaurant on the property.

The waiting time for a table was extremely long but we lucked out in obtaining two seats at the bar. Timing couldn't have been any better!

Summary Wow

Reviewer's Comments

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had in my life. The theming is outstanding, and definitely makes you feel that you are in the midst of a dense jungle. The "rainstorms" are clever and funny, and promote the experience even more. The waiter and waitresses are very helpful, and very nice as well. Definitely top of the line. The food is excellent, and the fruit smoothies are unbelievable. Everything about this restaurant oozes class, though you can dress pretty casually. The wait can get hairy, especially during the dinner hours, so make reservations early. The best restaurant that I have been to in a long while (taking into effect that I have not dined at any of Disney's Five-Star quality facilities). Amazing.

Summary Definately different!

Reviewer's Comments

Loved this place. Was one of the first places we went to whilst at WDW. My husbad had gone to the bathroom and asked me to order for him. The waitress came over and I ordered the rack of ribs for him, she asked if I was sure I didn't mean the half rack. I said I thought he meant the full (price was reasonable). When it arrived....OMG, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. He never did eat it all. I couldn't finish my Caesar salad either. Both meals were very nice though. Next time we went we ordered the half rack and the starter size Caesar salad
Great theming, a great experience!

Summary Worth the wait

Reviewer's Comments

We had to wait 2 hours for our table but it was definately worth the wait! The service was a bit slow, waited an hour for our food but the atmosphere is awesome. The thunderstorms are to behol, I defintely think that everyone should experience it. Portions of food were huge, couldn't even eat half ( even after the 3 hour wait!)

Summary Great Place

Reviewer's Comments

My family loved this place. The theming is great with the animals and thunder storms. We enjoyed our meal. My husband got the steak & shrimp, I got the ceasers salad, one son got the fried chicken and one son got the mini hamburgers (which are regular size). We got 2 appetizers, a beer & 3 drinks. The total bill with tip was $116.07. The service was great & the food was
good also. Would definetly go back. They were not too busy when
we got there at 5:00 however when we left they had a line out the door. I would go early to beat the crowd.

Reviewer's Comments

The food hear was great and at a top quality value , there was only me and my boy friend on this trip so it was quite good getting a seat in the restaurant's , how ever if you have more than 4 people in your group you will have to arrive early to get a seat . we see load of partys waiting out side for when a table would come available and it can be a long wait . It was a very fantastic restaurant i would be a shame if you missed out
