Summary Jiko..a great experience

Reviewer's Comments

My husband and I went to Jiko for our anniversary. We made priority seating "reservations" for 7:30 on a Saturday night. we were seated in less than 10 minutes. The atmosphere is nice..we were seated at a table near the windows. Our only small complaint was the fact that the children at the tables near us did not seem to be having as good of a time as us.It really is a more grown up place to eat.
Our server was perfect! She really made our experience great with her helpful suggestions. She was fast and efficent. We ended up ordering the quail and the monkfish. Unique and tasty..we were not sorry! It is a bit pricey..but well worth it in the end.
We ordered a bottle of wine that was out of this world!
Over all we had a relaxing, fun, unique dining experience that we will not soon forget!

Summary One of our Favorites

Reviewer's Comments

This is one of our favorite WDW places to dine. The food offers some unique options, though nothing too exotic -- just some interesting spices and combinations. The lamb shank is fantastic! The service is attentive without hovering. The atmosphere is soothing. But I do agree with the other reviewer in that this is not a place to bring young children.

Summary Wonderful food & service!

Reviewer's Comments

Our waitress was very knowlegeable on all of the dishes. She made wonderful suggestions that turned out to be great choices. She even suggested a wine to go with my quail that was perfect and typically I don't drink red wines. Every bite was delicious and I know I will be going back there again.

Summary jiko,s

Reviewer's Comments

We arrived at jiko's fairly late having just checked into the lodge. we had been awake for 23hrs traveling from england and wanted a bite to eat, what we got was full dinning experience, we waited about 15 minutes so grabbed a drink at Victoria falls bar before being seated, what can i say even in our over tired state was absolutely amazed at the theme, service and quality of the food, i had the pork dish and could,nt believe how it melted in my mouth and can still taste it now a yr on. my partner had the halibut, well what can i say? we had a glass of gorgeous pinotage each and went to bed happy and content,in the next fortnight we dined there 3 times, i was told to be critical with this review, sorry i cant. to good
