Summary
see the fireworks
Reviewer's Comments
We made a 7:40 priority seating and requested to sit outside upon arrival. The meal was decent but it was worth the show. This is the best seat in Epcot to experience the firework/laser show at 9:00 pm. The wait staff was the best in Disney, and they chose our daughter to start the fireworks spectacular by "waving the magic wand for the steps of the pub". This is a must if you want the best vantage point.

The food selection was limited, but the mashed potatos are plane and boring and my boyfriend got shrimp and it was undercooked.

Fun Place To Hang Out
Reviewer's Comments
Anytime we visit EPCOT, we stop at the Rose & Crown for a bite to eat or a drink at the bar.
Due to it pouring outside, we decided to have an early lunch. We were lucky enough to get a table but it was outside (thankfully it's covered) but we were warned that if you sit outside you get plastic flatware/plates/cups. Since we were soaked we really didn't care. This is something new since we were here a few years ago. Having a Guinness served in a plastic cup was sacrilege but we had no choice. We didn't want to wait and the bar was crowded.
The food selection was very limited, portions were small, prices were high (typical for any restaurant on the property) but the food was good. Service was excellent and our waitress was great. The tables outside were a bit tight so you had to make sure you didn't back up into someone when you needed to get up.
Overall, it's a fun place to visit, the bar is great to hang out at if you can get a seat and the food was good.

Great Pub Grub
Reviewer's Comments
We had a great lunch at the Rose and Crown. We're English ourselves and so were lots of other people in the pub at lunchtime. Everyone wanted a taste of home.
Our waiter was from near where my mum comes from in England so we had a great chat with him.
The food was amazing. I had the best shepherd's pie in the world and a lemon pie for dessert. Really lovely, but made walking round Epcot quite hard in the afternoon because I got so full!
The view from the terrace where we sat was really pretty too.

Nice place
Reviewer's Comments
We had a very good experience. Our waiter was one of the best. I don't remember what I had but I know everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. I mostly remember really enjoying the guinness. This would be a great place to have lunch or watch fireworks from.

Superb
Reviewer's Comments
Certainly a must see, especially if you don't have younger children along for the ride. However, you do need priority seating, so make it before 2 o'clock (twelve to be safe). The place itself is what you would see if you were to travel to an English Pub. The waiters and waitresses are all from England (or at least that is what their accents suggest), and they are very talented in what they do. The food is fantastic, but just one word of warning: the kids might not enjoy the slim selections (at least in terms of children's food), so you might want to rethink your choice of establishment depending on your situation. Also, you might want to come with an appetite: the food is very filling. Excellent, with a wonderful atmosphere to compliment the wonderful food and service.

Summary
Great food and atmosphere
Reviewer's Comments
We had a very enjoyable time at the Rose and Crown Pub. The atmosphere was very upbeat and cheery and the service was very good. Remember to go hungry because the food is very filling. We started off with the fruit and cheese plate, which was good. Although next time we would forego an appetizer as the meals are enough in themselves.
I ordered the roasted chicken, which came with mashed potatoes and stuffing. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful. The marmalade glaze was very tasty. My husband ordered the pie sampler. He was in love with the pork pie and the chicken and leaks one. I tasted a bite of each and agreed they were very good. The serving size looked small with his dish but it turned out to be very filling. We had to skip dessert, as we were so full. The prices were very reasonable for a Disney restaurant at dinnertime. Both our entrees were $15.99 each. They also had the cheapest price for a glass of wine then other Disney restaurants we had been too. Many restaurants charge $7-$9 a glass while at the Rose and Crown you can get one for under $5. We would definitely go back to this restaurant on a return trip.
