okay, I guess
Reviewer's Comments
Let's just say I wouldn't go again. The seating was awkward - you were right ontop of the next table. The food was okay but nothing I would brag about. I'm glad we did it once but once is defintely enough.

Summary
Good, not great
Reviewer's Comments
I thought the food here was excellent. The service was okay, but nothing to brag about. The tables were very close together. I could hear everything that the table next to us was saying and felt kinda weird talking there because I knew that they could hear everything that we were saying. All in all, it was an okay experience, but I think the food is way over-priced for the amount that you get. We went at lunch time and I got the alfredo, and even though it was pretty good, I felt myself still hungry after eating it. I didn't eat breakfast that morning knowing that we were going here for lunch and getting a lot to eat, boy was I surprised.

Summary
Not what it was
Reviewer's Comments
This was always our favorite EPCOT restaurant for many years. The food was great, the service friendly, and the atmosphere like being in Italy. They had musicians who would go around taking requests and singing O Sole Mio and Finiculi Finicula while everyone waved their napkins in the air and sang along. Then we went last year and couldn't believe the change. They had fired the musicians to save money, the place seemed lifeless and spiritless. The food was mediocre and the service was just O.K. I hope they get their act together and bring this place back to what it was.

Great place
Reviewer's Comments
This is a great Italian restaurant. Even if they don't have the singing waiters, the food is excellent! I recommend going for dinner, even though its crowded.

excellant
Reviewer's Comments
We had lunch there on a weekend and got in with no trouble. Not cheap but very good food, excellent service with a very friendly waiter and wonderful atmosphere. I understand they used to have musicians and singing waiters - personally I'm glad they don't anymore, that tends to be annoying. I would definately recommend it as a very good high end dining experience.

Great Calamari
Reviewer's Comments
If you like Calamari, try this place just for the appetizer alone. My husband and I stopped here in 2003 for lunch. After having the calamari appetizer, my husband and I both agreed we would get the larger serving (for 2-4 people) and make that our main meal. They have zuccini (sp) and peppers fried in with it and it is wonderful.

Summary
Alfredo\'s was great
Reviewer's Comments
My girlfriend and I had priority seating and we only waited about 5 minutes to get seated while those that didn\'t have PS were wating much longer. I had the calimari which was mediocre. The marinara sauce for dipping was great, but the calimari had no flavor compared to other that I have eaten. She had the alfredo which she enjoyed, despite the fact that it was very cheesy and very rich. I had the trio sampler with alfredo, lasagna and tomato ziti. The ziti was pretty much that, ziti with tomato sauce. I enjoyed the alfredo and the lasagna stole the show. I will get just the lasagna on my next visit. We didn\'t like that the tables were placed on top of each other, but I understand that they are trying to get as many people in there as possible. The did have an accordion player walking around taking requests which was nice and they did do the napkin waving which was kind of neat. Overall, a very good experience that we would definitely do again.

REAL ITALIAN
Reviewer's Comments
THIS IS ITALY, NOT MAZZIOS! THE FOOD HERE IS UNIQUE IN THAT IT IS FROM THE COUNTRY. IF YOU WANT WATERED DOWN PASTA FROM A $4.99 BUFFET THEN GO ELSEWHERE AND COMPLAIN TO THE 22 Y/O MANAGER THAT IT WAS OVERPRICED. IF WANT A WDW EXPERIENCE THEN SAVE UP YOUR VACATION STASH AND SPLURGE ON YOUR VACATION AND ENJOY AN EXCELLENT DINNER AND A GOOD BOTTLE OF RED. WDW IS QUALITY AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM!
