GARDEN GRILL REVAMPED

It appears that no one has updated this review in a very long time. Three months ago, the Garden Grill re-opened with a whole new menu and format. Gone are all the things that people went to Garden Grill for: no more garden salad with ranch dressing, no more sunflower bread with flavored butters, no more catfish or turkey or stuffing or flank steak, NO MORE ALL YOU CAN EAT FAMILY STYLE DINING In an effort to \"improve: they ruined the place with a very poor menu that forces you to choose between one of five very bad entrees. The salad now has a horrible vinagrette dressing, the great bread was replaced by chewy breadstick with three God-awful \"dipping sauces\" and the entree was puny for the $25.00 price tag they raised it to. The waitress admitted that booking have been down by 50% since the new format and menu. People just didn\'t go here for this type of food. The atmosphere is still one of the best so if you\'re willing to be price gouged for some poor tasting food, go right ahead but PLEASE complain to the manager and ask to bring back the old menu and format. If it wasn\'t broken, why did they try to fix it??

We ate here after reading about it on the Disney site. We had reservations for 5.30pm, arrived at 5.20pm, got our table at 6.20pm. The food was terrible - everything was either very smoked or under cooked. My daughter could not eat anything. It was nothing like what was advertised. We was expecting a selection of desserts, but got bread pudding with baileys sauce - perfect for a 11 year old!!. The bill was very expensive and we had to buy some food for our kids on the way back to our hotel. The waiter gave us the bill at the same time as our main course!.

We love the family style dining, and it's great the our kids can see the characters. The food is great and the servers were so nice. We make it a point to eat here every trip. Would recommend this for everyone. Although the wait time can be long if u have a large party.
