great

We stayed at the villas during off season. It was a peaceful, atmosphere and a good choice for our daughter who is 6. She loved the sand beach, pools, and the playground, and we loved the short and easy boat ride to the magic kingdom.

Great theme!
Reviewer's Comments
The villas themselves were wonderful (with the exception of the oh-so-uncomfortable sofa bed), and quiet. Disappointed in the WL check-in CM; we were a group of 11 (3 generations) split into a 2-bed and a 1-bed villa. Though MIL had requested SEVERAL times (upon reservation, 3 days out, at check-in) to be adjoining, we were on opposite ends of the same floor. Kind of put a ***per on things, especially after the younger children were sleeping.
Villas are very close to the bus stop. Don't know how often the buses run, I never used them. Used rental car to get to MGM, AK, and Epcot. Took boat to MK, a little tight sometimes with a stroller. Also not pleasant to stand in huge crowd on the dock, in the rain.
Main pool was fun, themed slide cute for young kids. Quiet pool at the villas wasn't used much (5 kids in the group ages 1- 10 wouldn't allow for much quiet!!) Quick walk from villas to main WL building. Roaring Fork handy, but not huge selection. Could get crowded. Artist Point looked too stuffy, so we passed. Whispering Canyon Cafe was simply annoying for me after a long day in the parks. Beware, small children can get frightened by the yelling CM's, and nothing seems to get them to tone it down. Guess you have to be in the mood.
Would definitely stay at the villas again for the soothing quiet, and the conveniece of the kitchen, laundry, and separate bedroom. Next reservations, though, are on the monorail at the Contemporary for the convenience.
